ELECTRO-VOICE Sx500+ SPEAKER DESCRIPTION
Electo-Voice's Sx500+ Speaker is a Two-way 15-inch full-range system with 400 watts continuous, 1,600 watts peak power handling. The DL15SX 15-inch woofer and large enclosure volume extend and increase bass output. An asymmetric 75° x 60° constant-directivity high-frequency horn aims down 10°, helping to direct sound at the audience when vertically stand mounted.

The Horn loading of the woofer helps to control the coverage pattern down to nearly 500 Hz, an unheard of characteristic in a speaker of this size and price. This feature also allows for higher vocal intelligibility and musical clarity while also providing more bass punch at greater distances than conventional front-loaded woofers. The Sx500+ is also biampable. Suspension points accommodate optional 3-piece set of Mb700 forged eyebolts. Mb600 horizontal array kits are also available for side-by-side arraying of two systems (requires one Mb500 wall/ceiling bracket per speaker).
