Ace Backstage Co., Inc.'s extra-large capacitiy use Super Double Wide Horizontal Panel Stage Pockets are the same size as the ACE Double Wide Pockets with Back Box except they provide almost 2X the "Connectivity" capacity using a Horizontal Panel Design. The basic construction incorporates 3 sub-assemblies: 1) A unique Trim-Bezel lid assembly with spring loaded hinge pins, 2) Two hinged cableway slot closures that mount directly to the Pocket Body Back Box, 3) A set of panel mounting brackets installed in the Super Double Wide Pocket Body Back Box (#BRK102BBX Back Box). The Super Double Wide Pocket features welded heavy duty steel construction, choice of 2 decorator oven cured powder coat finishes (for the trim-bezel lid assembly), 2 lid choices (Standard Lid (SL) and Carpet Lid (CL)), plus solid brass or solid stainless steel trim bezel lid assembly finishes. Add a host of stock prefabricated or custom audio, communications, control, data, electric, video, and voice panels and connectors for a complete Stage Pocket System. All ACE Super Double Wide Stage Pockets Trim-Bezel Lid assemblies are heavy duty welded steel construction, with a 1/8" (nominally 11 ga. (.120")) thick CRS steel Lid and Mounting Flange. The 14 ga. (.071") thick CRS steel Super Double Wide Pocket Body Back Box is precision die formed and jig welded. The Super Double Wide Stage Pocket resists bending under even the most severe stage loads. Removable spring loaded hinge pins permits easy exchange of lids for carpet lids, locking lids, standard lids, and other custom application lids. A generous cable way slot of 3/8" x 16" permits easy cable exit from the stage pocket, even for large gauge cables. Two attached cableway slot channel closures close the slot when not in use. The Super Double Wide Stage Pocket has an easy installation into 10" x 18" cutout in the stage floor. Open easy access from top of the Super Double Wide Stage Pocket to connector panels makes for easy installation. A scratch/wear resistant finish, oven cured powder coat is electro-staticly applied inside and outside the entire trim-bezel lid assembly. Decorator neutral Antique Copper Vein or Textured Black finishes are standard. A Solid Brass Lid and Mounting Flange as well as Solid Stainless Steel Lid and Mounting Flange are also available by special order. The Super Double Wide Pocket Body Back Box comes with a clear zinc finish (Mil Spec QQ-Z-325E Type I, Class II). The Super Double Wide Stage Pocket's solid rubber Lid Stops cradle the lid to prevent lid rattle. Utilizing ACE's "Connectrix" System will allow mounting of up to 50 "Connectrix", Neutrik®, Switchcraft®, and/or Custom Connectors* in the Super Double Wide Stage Pocket. The Horizontal Panel Design in the Super Double Wide Pocket is designed for extra high capacity connectivity. In less than two square feet (10.5”x18.5”) the Super Double Wide Pocket provides abundant panel space for up to 50 "Connectrix" connectors*. Generous combination conduit knockouts on four sides provides in-out-and-thru ways for both low voltage and AC electric cabling. Generous clearances above and below the panel(s) permit easy termination and access to an array of audio, video, data, communication and control connections. ACE's Super Horizontal Panel Stage Pocket Systems offer "Connectivity" Solutions with a flexible, reliable, and simplistic design. The flexible design of the Super Double Wide Horizontal Panel Stage Pocket Lid and Mounting Flange along with the Super Double Wide Pocket Body Back Box, when used in combination with Custom and Prefabricated Aluminum "Connectrix" (Neutrik®/Switchcraft® combo cutout) Panels, Switchcraft® Panels, and our large selection of "Connectrix" (Neutrik®/Switchcraft® combo cutout), Switchcraft®, and Custom Connectors allow the Stage Pockets to be installed in many different applications. These applications include educational, institutional, and liturgical settings. Within these applications various audio, communications, control, data, electric AC power, video, and voice terminations are possible, allowing for a complete Stage Pocket System. ACE's Horizontal Panel Stage Pockets are available in two sizes (Super and Super Double Wide Stage Pockets) making them flexible in both form and function and able to meet your individual requirements.
